He received an accounting degree from Colorado State University and worked as an accountant for over 10 years, focusing on the bottom line of his corporate employers. He entered the real estate industry in 2002 as an escrow officer for a title company, where he closed hundreds of real estate transactions, and learned first-hand about the various pitfalls that can occur to a real estate agent and their hapless clients.
